Church closure

Following the advise from the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, St Anne’s and Earnley will be suspending all public worship from 17th March until further notice. 

Also all churches are now closed, and not available for private prayer

Service sheet

A short service sheet for those isolated at home to use instead of taking Communion.


In addition to all services, the following events are also cancelled:

  • Coffee & tea after services
  • Lent Lunches
  • Lent course
  • All planned social events, ie Palm Sunday Lunch, VE Day event, Bible Study, Thirsty Thursday pop up cafe and Earnley dinner

Kindness card

If you are able to help any of your neighbours, and can do so without putting yourself at risk, you may like to print and fill-out the following card and post through your neighbours doors.

If you receive such cards offering assistance you should only accept the kind offer from those whom you know, i.e. family, friends or neighbours.
